Marissa Nasca, LCSW, E-RYT 500

I am an experienced therapist and have worked with adults, teens and their families in practice since 2007. I have a BA in Psychology from Miami University of Ohio and went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. In the past, my main focus was on clinical work with teens and families. I utilize a variety of practices and techniques that have worked for me and my clients. While I still work with teens and families, my yoga career has brought me closer to the adult population and thus, I will see a variety of clients.

I offer clients practices and clinical tools that are individually curated based on need and interest. Each relationship is an experiment. I practice being open to whatever my client is bringing me and moving on to new skills and tools as we find out together what is working and what is not. My specialities include anxiety and depression. I have a knack for getting along with the teen population.

My personal experiences inform my clinical and holistic coaching work. I have found cognitive behavioral therapy, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness tools very useful in my own life. I am passionate about growth and breaking patterns that no longer serve my forward motion. Change is the only thing that is always happening; I help my clients learn to flow with their lives by working on what they have control over and letting go of the rest.
